It began with a friendship
High school days were great, until we discovered the salon would be where we would cultivate our strongest bond. For over 20 years, we have worked behind the chair together, so it was only natural we would take the next step and begin a journey together. History brought us together but our passion for the beauty industry is what got us here.
We wanted to create a space that would be a positive environment for both our clients as well as our staff. And so Secret Beauty Spa came to life in 2014. Secret Beauty Spa has been a creative outlet for us both as well as our team, a safe space to collectively learn, educate and inspire all who walk through our door. Secret beauty Spa is a full service salon offering many beauty services to make you look and feel your absolute best.

Sandy botelho
As a child, I spent many days at an in-home salon which totally set the tone for my career. I loved the scents, the energy, and hustle of Salon life. I loved the contagious laughter on early Saturday mornings. I loved seeing the "glow" when a woman felt her best. This made me dream of working behind the chair one day. Since 1996, I have found myself behind that chair and I love every minute of it. I love that I have the ability to enrich someone’s beauty from the inside out. As a salon owner, I take this role incredibly serious. It's an amazing journey of self discovery and ambition for myself.

I am a Physical Therapist, who graduated from Northeastern University in 2003 with a Bachelors in Rehabilitation Medicine and a Masters of Physical Therapy in 2004. I specialize in soft tissue and massage techniques such as Myofacial Release, Strain and Counterstrain techniques , and Trigger Point Release. I also incorporate many stretches and passive range of motion exercises into my massages to decrease pain and improve muscle flexibility. Some of my favorite pastimes are spending time with my two children and husband and teaching kick-boxing and cycle classes.

Education is a huge passion for us! We continuously educate ourselves by taking new classes and getting new certifications. Not only do we continue to learn ourselves, we also offer workshops to our clients. We want you to be able to create magic on your own at home as well!
We wanted to create a salon experience that our clients would love. A place for them to come, sit back, relax, and get pampered. When building our team, we knew we wanted to create a family dynamic. Every single person in our salon is part of our family. We love working together every day.
